Guideline 2
1. Analyze the Mission Statement and establish the three parts in which it is divided.
2. Translating the mission and vision statements.
3. Create a comparative chart in which you include the differences between four profiles.
4. Choose one of these two profiles and translate it into the corresponding language.
5. Post an oral summary based on Chapter 8 from Introducing Translation Studies - Theories and Applications.
6. Create a comparative chart in order to summarize the most representative elements of each type of document (memos, letters and charts).
7. Read the six of the samples and create a glossary with the words you consider necessary to translate them.
8. Choose three of the samples above (one memorandum, one cover letter, one thank you letter, one acceptance letter, one resignation letter, and one organizational chart) and translate them. Present the translation with the same characteristics of the original text in terms of style and format.
